[closed] Major UK Network Upgrade – Phase 1
As part of the long term commitment to continually raising the level of hosting service that we provide, the entire network will be upgraded.
The net result of this programme will be a network with greater capacity and redundancy, complete with a ‘future proofing’ capability enabling us to offer new services like IPv6 and MPLS in the very near future.
The plan is to implement this...

This is a notice about part of our network improvement work, some of our servers will be powered off and moved to another rack tomorrow night, between 01:00 and 03:00.
As part of our ongoing work to increase network resilience, the data centre is being split up into a number of discrete zones, each running an entirely separate network. To achieve this, we need to move some servers from one rack...
